Super Armor Mega Man, or typically known as Super Mega Man, is a transformation used by Rock "Mega Man" Light that appears in the Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog comic crossover event, Worlds Collide published by Archie Comics. First appearing in Worlds Collide #12, Super Armor Mega Man was shown after Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog had used the power of the Chaos Emeralds to stop Doctor Albert Wily and Doctor Ivo Eggman. Super Armor Mega Man is essentially the equivalent to Super Sonic.
Super Armor Mega Man's appearance was only in Worlds Collide.
Inside the Wily Egg, Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man had went through many obstacles inside the ship, most notably the Mega Man Killers–Enker, Punk, and Ballade, the Chaos Devil, and their dark counterparts–Bass, Treble, and Metal Sonic. After defeating all of the enemies, the two heroes were unfortunately captured by Dr. Wily and Dr. Eggman inside their Egg Wily Machine X robot. Shortly, the two doctors told the heroes, who were trapped inside capsules, that their true plan was to use all of the Chaos Emeralds to power their Genesis Wave to recreate their dimensions into their liking. Fortunately, Doctor Thomas Light, Blues "Proto Man" Light, Rush, and Knuckles the Echidna were able to break inside the Wily Egg to help Sonic and Mega Man. While Knuckles and Proto Man has taken care of Eggman and Wily, Dr. Light and Rush had rescued Sonic and Mega Man by releasing them from the capsules. Dr. Light then advised Mega Man to merge with Rush into the Super Adaptor to give Rock a little boost, and the Blue Bomber agreed, as the heroes then went to the Genesis Chamber, for Sonic has a "better idea". Proto Man and Knuckles were not able to stop the evil doctor's activation on the Super Genesis Wave, but Sonic and Mega Man were able to use the Chaos Emerald energy to transform themselves into Super Sonic and Super Armor Mega Man, respectively. And thus, Eggman and Wily had attacked Mega Man and Sonic, while Dr. Light, Proto Man, and Knuckles evacuated the Wily Egg as the dimension was being rewritten by the Super Genesis Wave. As Sonic and Mega Man broke through every defense and attack the two doctors thrown at the heroes, Sonic decided to let Mega Man shoot [Sonic] while firing a super Sonic Shot. The Sonic Shot had then destroyed the Egg-Wily Machine X at ease, and the two heroes then decided to use their Chaos Energy to set their worlds back to normal via Chaos Control. However, while the two heroes were able to concentrate on using Chaos Control, Sonic was distracted by Eggman, in which the said doctor was furious and stubborn to give up. Sonic bravely told Mega Man to worry about his world, while Sonic took care of his. Mega Man had then restored his world back to normal, while Sonic's world was not so lucky. (WC #12)
Taking the appearance of a golden version of the Super Adaptor upgrade, Super Armor Mega Man is colored in both light and dark gold. Super Armor Mega Man's legs, arms, hands, and parts of his helmet are colored white, while his core on his chest is colored crimson. Most of Mega Man's features for this form remain the same as when [Mega Man] was in his Super Adaptor form, only with the exclusive of controlling Chaos Control and a stronger Sonic Shot. Super Armor Mega Man's personality remains the same as when Mega Man was normal.

While as his regular state, Mega Man can use the Sonic Shot to de-roboticize those who were roboticized, namely the Roboticized Masters during the course of Worlds Collide. However, the most powerful and final Sonic Shot was used by Super Armor Mega Man when Super Sonic had decided to use himself, while as a Spin Dash, to destroy the Egg-Wily Machine X via combining with the Sonic Shot power. The result of the Super Sonic Shot was shown to obliviate the entire machine with only one fire.
- Main article: Chaos Control
Just like Super Sonic and Shadow the Hedgehog, Super Armor Mega Man has the ability of Chaos Control. Upon using Chaos Control, the user can warp to a certain location in a midst of seconds, depending on the amount of Chaos Energy the user has. A large amount of Chaos Energy can even revert the process of a Genesis Wave, in which this was the only reason Super Armor Mega Man had used Chaos Control in Worlds Collide.
- Most fans tend to call this form of Mega Man "Super Mega Man". However, Ian Flynn had eventually revealed that the official name of this form was "Super Armor Mega Man" to avoid confusion with the Super Adaptor name.
